The Willoughbys (2020)

The Willoughbys tell the story of a family of children who are neglected by their parents. They hatch a plan to get rid of them in the hopes of a better life. Their newfound independence doesn’t quite go as they imagined yet they keep up the good cheer and when things finally turn around they have a more worldly view on life.

The Angry Birds Movie (2016)

That’s right you read correctly, after the video became such a hit they decided to release a movie and so the infamous lovable characters join our screens for another whirlwind adventure. After being sentenced to an anger management class, grumpy Red becomes a hero who trains his fellow birds to unleash their inner fury when pigs invade their island.

Bee Movie (2007)

This enchanting movie takes you on a journey with Barry B Benson, a bee who has just completed his graduation. Tired of being just one of the hive, Barry makes a bold move on behalf of his species and makes a shocking discovery. Feel The Beat (2020)

For aspiring dancers, this story revolves around April, a young woman who’s Broadway dreams become shattered in the first part of the movie. The dancer reluctantly returns home and agrees to coach a squad of young misfits for a big dance competition. An empowering movie that highlights the importance of not giving up.

Turbo (2013)

Turbo is a speed-obsessed snail with an unusual dream: to become the world’s greatest race car driver. A freak accident gives him the power of super speed and his dreams finally appear within reach. Over the Moon (2020)

Fuelled by memories of her mother, resourceful Fei Fei builds a rocket to the moon on a mission to prove the existence of a legendary moon goddess. This animated musical takes you on a story of bravery and teaches children the power of letting go.

Monster House (2006)

Not as scary as the image may suggest, this gripping children’s movie set in a quiet leafy suburb, a trio of friends come together to expose the terrors of a vacant neighbourhood house. The house appears to have an appetite for children and a mind of its own. With Halloween approaching and no adults believing in them, the friends set out to destroy the house before innocent trick-or-treaters are gobbled up.

We Can Be Heroes (2020)

When alien invaders capture Earth’s superheroes, their children must learn to work together to save their parents and the planet. A somewhat sequel to ‘The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl’ children of superheroes are taken to ‘Heroic Central’ headquarters for protection. The main character, Missy meets the rest of the superhero children and devises a plan for them all to escape. They must learn to work together, control their powers and avoid capture by aliens in order to save their parents and Earth before time runs out.

Hotel Transylvania 2 (2015)

After Mavis weds Jonathan and baby Dennis arrives, Dracula becomes secretly worried that his half-human grandson isn’t showing any of his vampire side. So whilst Mavis and Jonathan are away, Drac enlists his friends to help him put the boy through a “monster-in-training’ boot camp. His efforts are in vain as they face hiccups along the way and are even paid an unexpected visit by Dracs old-school dad.

Madagascar (2005)

A movie that is bound to keep your children entertained is Dreamworks Madagascar. A story of a group of zoo animal friends that find themselves on a desert island after their ship capsizes. The animals befriend a group of hilarious lemurs after they defend them from the savage fossas. Trouble arises when Alex, the lion of the group and only carnivore, slowly succumbs to his savage side.
