Molly Brown to Launch lower-priced range.
Children's jewellery brand Molly Brown will launch a lower-priced range this summer called Mini Molly's.
The retail price of the range will be about £20, where as Molly Brown's mainline can cost upwards of £40 for a charm plus a chain.
Molly Brown director Erica Illingworth hopes to tap into a new market with the more affordable range. She said: "People love the range but some think it's a bit too expensive."
Molly Brown will create minature versions of it's sterling silver jewellery collections Dishy Fishy, Jelly Bean and Alphabet.
"I was in Paris and noticed a lot of teeny things going on," said Illingworth. "I thought, we've got a lot of great designs so why not just shrink them?"
Molly Brown is sold in about 75 outlets in the UK and is a member of the buying group Company of Master Jewellers.
