Coutts backs small businesses

Coutts London Jewellery week returns on 8th to 14th June 2009, and will be supporting a number of small and independent businesses. After a number of recent rallying calls to Prime Minister Gordon Brown and Mayor of London Boris Johnson, Coutts will be showing complete support towards the jewellery businesses that are integral to Britain's economy.
Coutts presents a real opportunity for the Bank to utilise the breadth of its experience in supporting London's vibrant jewellery industry. The event is conventionally held to celebrate big name designers such as Stephen Webster and Shaun Leane, whose pieces are worn by the likes of Christina Aguilera, David Bowie and Liv Tyler; but this year it has a unique marketing twist.
Coutts is an exciting extension of the Bank's support of both art and fashion. The week is vital in ensuring that the jewellery industry retains a high profilfe during a time when it is most in need, and that enterprise in jewellery is recognised regionally, nationally and internationally.
To support Coutts, Molly Brown London has teamed up with Harrods and will be holding an Aurora Colouring Competition in the Children's Department on the Fourth Floor.
The competition celebrates the arrival of Molly Brown London's exclusive collection, which is based on The Sleeping Beauty fairytale and will run from 8th June to 14th June.
